RAKTAMIKSHANA (BLOOD LETTING) It is one of the miraculous treatments mentioned in the Ayurveda. Removing of vitiated Rakta dosha from the body by means of venous puncture, leech etc. PROCEDURE: Before the actual karma of the Raktamokshana the Snehana and Swedana done. The site for the Raktamokshana is different as per disease. In process of Raktamokshana blood is removed by the venous puncture with the help of special needles or by leeches.
